About Me
- Ms. Reese
- Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! I am so happy and grateful to be a part of the Buffalo Trail community and especially the wonderful 5th grade team. This is my 2nd year at BTE and my 12th year of teaching. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in Kentucky and Colorado. Before moving to Denver three years ago, I lived in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati, Ohio. I earned a BS from the University of Kentucky and my MAT from the University of Louisville. In 2007, I became a National Board Certified Teacher with an emphasis in Early/Middle Childhood Reading and Language Arts. In my free time, I love to read, ride my bike, try new restaurants, and go to concerts/sports events. I love cheering my teams on during basketball season, hiking, and skiing. I am loving Colorful Colorado and look forward to our new adventures together!
Today i came back from chiucago1 I went downtown and it was BEAUTIFUL! I stay there for a day but still was magnificent! Tomorrow, i will go to the theaters and see the Hunger Games! SUPER EXCITED!
ReplyDeletethat sounds fun!
DeleteChicago is a great city! I'm so glad you got to enjoy it with your family. What did you think of "The Hunger Games"? I thought it was good, but not as good as the book! :)Ms. Reese
DeleteI loved the movie but it is already stated as a fact that the books are ALWAYS better! My sister read the series in a week and got nightmares! What was the saddest part for you Ms. Reese in the movie? I thought it was when Rue died . People in the theater were crying ( INCLUDING ME)
DeleteI think that the saddest part in the book was when Rue died too! The happiest is when Katniss and Peeta won the 74th Hunger Games!

I'm so glad you're enjoying your break! What did you think of the book? I finished book 3 "Mockingjay" this week. I was sad "The Hunger Games" was over. I need to read the rest of the "Among the Hidden" series. Did you ever read any of the others?
DeleteI thought the Hunger Games was AMAZING and I am about to start the next book! Hopefully, I am able to watch the movie this break. In Among the Hidden, I read the second and third book but then I started reading other books. I should read them soon, too! ;)
