About Me

- Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! I am so happy and grateful to be a part of the Buffalo Trail community and especially the wonderful 5th grade team. This is my 2nd year at BTE and my 12th year of teaching. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in Kentucky and Colorado. Before moving to Denver three years ago, I lived in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati, Ohio. I earned a BS from the University of Kentucky and my MAT from the University of Louisville. In 2007, I became a National Board Certified Teacher with an emphasis in Early/Middle Childhood Reading and Language Arts. In my free time, I love to read, ride my bike, try new restaurants, and go to concerts/sports events. I love cheering my teams on during basketball season, hiking, and skiing. I am loving Colorful Colorado and look forward to our new adventures together!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe this school year already went by! I will see on continuation! CAN'T WAIT! I agree with what you wrote on the board today.You made it so much better after Ms. Nuss left! She is also a great teacher that teaches music! However, you are the best teacher that knows how to make learning fun! ( And of course many more things I enjoy about you!) I will cherish this blog for the rest of my life! Please keep this blog Ms. Reese! What an amazing school year with such a magnificent homeroom teacher!?!? You made this year so much better! Thanks for everything!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for a fantastic, magnificent, and magical year; Ms. Reese. Fifth grade is certainly a big memory that will stay in my heart for a long time. Of course this year wouldn't have been how it was without you. You have given me challenges through out the whole year and that has really impacted my life. Middle school will be a lot easier, and might even seem like a piece of cake just because you have helped me all through the process of fifth grade. I wish you loads if luck in your new school! You are the best teacher EVER!!!!

Hi Ms.Reese this is Dua I just wanted to let you know I moved to Houston already:(. I was really bored so I just wondering how your summer been going? I will miss Colorado a lot! But now I have to get used to of Texas.I will miss you and your peaces! Have fun at Buffalo Trails and I am pretty sure your students would love having you as a teacher as much as i did. I have to say goodbye elementary school and hello middle school! I will miss you, my friends and Colorful Colorado! Have a great summer atleast the every last bit of it and enjoy life! Tell me how your summer went! I hope it was AWESOME! Thank you for everything!
