Summer Fun

Hi Guys!

I hope you all are enjoying your last weeks of freedom before middle school! I am already back, preparing for my new class. Summer went by too fast! I did get to have some fun though. Highlights include 2 whitewater rafting trips, camping, and hiking my first 14er!

What fun things have you been doing this summer? Don't be a stranger and say hello and let me know about all the fun you've had.

  1. Hey Ms. Reese! Summer was so fun!!!! Just like the school year, it went by extremely fast! Your summer sounds very fun too! I wish i could go rafting :)
My summer was great! I went to Seattle/Canada and had a blast! The rest was all about hanging out with friends and family :)
Now it's time to get back to school and start a new adventure!
Good luck in your new school! I miss you!

  2. Hi Ms.Reese my summer was fun also! Within a week of summer vacation it was both of my cousins wedding and I got to see the whole side of my dad's family ! I got to see my nephew named Jemimah and she was super adorable! Then once everyone left after the wedding I was moving to Houston! My family had to pack the entire house all in a week:/ Finally, after settling down in Houston I came back to Aurora to meet my family just to say goodbye.:( I can't believe that school is about to start and now this is a brand new adventure for me! :-) ( like what ritika said) :-) have fun in BT. ( buffalo trails) :-)

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! I am so happy and grateful to be a part of the Buffalo Trail community and especially the wonderful 5th grade team. This is my 2nd year at BTE and my 12th year of teaching. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in Kentucky and Colorado. Before moving to Denver three years ago, I lived in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati, Ohio. I earned a BS from the University of Kentucky and my MAT from the University of Louisville. In 2007, I became a National Board Certified Teacher with an emphasis in Early/Middle Childhood Reading and Language Arts. In my free time, I love to read, ride my bike, try new restaurants, and go to concerts/sports events. I love cheering my teams on during basketball season, hiking, and skiing. I am loving Colorful Colorado and look forward to our new adventures together!
